Scholarship for high merit students (Undergraduate programme)

Merit Scholarship in first year of UG programme

  • 1. Tuition Scholarship

    Equivalent to 100% of tuition fee

  • 2. Professional Specialisation Scholarship

    Equivalent to 100% of IBM specialization fee, if opted.

    Equivalent to 50% of hostel accommodation charges if opted.

  • 4. International PG Assistance

    Guidance and career services support for higher education overseas if opted.

  • 5. Semester Abroad Scholarship

    Scholarship equivalent to 50% of semester exchange cost if selected to any of the partner Universities in India (e.g IIT) or overseas

    These benefits will continue in all years subject to student achieving 9.0 or higher GPA, with no limit on number of qualifying student. If student’ GPA falls below 9.0 but above or equal to 8.5, scholarship equivalent to 75% of fees will still be provided.

From 85% and below 90%
  • 1. Tuition Scholarship

    Equivalent to 75% of tuition fee

  • 2. Professional Specialisation Scholarship

    Equivalent to 75% of IBM specialization fee, if opted.

  • 3. Hostel Assistantship

    Equivalent to 50% of hostel accommodation charges if opted.

From 75% and below 85%
  • 1. Equivalent to 25% of tuition fees

    Applicable only in first year

*Fine Arts may be considered in the case of B.Des. admissions.

Merit Scholarships (Second year onwards for continuing students who could not qualify at entry level)

The top 10% of the students of each programme, who have obtained CGPA of 9.0 and above in the programme are awarded scholarship equivalent to 75% of the tuition fees.

Next 10% of the students of each programme, who have obtained CGPA of 8.0 and above but less than 9.0 in the programme are awarded scholarship equivalent to 50% of the tuition fees.

Merit-cum-means Scholarships (Second year onwards)

A limited number of merit-cum-means scholarships, equivalent to 25% of the tuition fees are awarded to students whose parental income is below Rs. 3 lakhs per annum and who obtain a CGPA of 7.0 and above.

On-campus Opportunities

The university also offers opportunities for on-campus assistantships and part-time jobs to exceptional students.
