  • JKLU Team topped International Innovation Challenge at Circular Campus Programme : An Innovation Challenge was conducted on October 27, 2021 by Circular Campus Programme in online mode, where 8 universities from Asia Pacific region took part and the top 10 teams shortlisted were allowed to pitch their startup ideas. JKLU had 3 teams in the Top 10, including Team “Paper Squad” who emerged the Winner and Team “DURT” who were amongst two wild cards. The teams will be attending intensive  bootcamp by ClimateLaunchpad in  November 2021 and will be further chosen for incubation startup. RENERGii  Asia, a  Singapore based firm which believes in making Asian Cities Zero Waste, Zero Pollution and Zero Carbon, was the organizer of the event, which had an international jury.
  • JKLU Students as Global Nominees at the NASA International Space Apps Challenge: The NASA International Space Apps Challenge (Space Apps) is an international hackathon for coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, technologists, and others in cities around the world, where teams engage the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA’s) free and open data to address real-world problems on Earth and in space. 6 students of JKLU’s BTech 3rd Semester got selected as the Global Nominee at the NASA Space Apps Challenge.
  • JKLU team wins 3rd prize at Elite Sports India organized Valorant Championship: JKLU was part of the elite e-sports Valorant Championship of the Central Division organized by Elite Sports India between October 8-9, 2021. The team secured 3rd position in this tournament, won a cash prize of Rs 5000 and has qualified for the National Championship of prize pool upto Rs 10 Lakhs.
