The JKLU business club, CORPOVA organized an online session on ‘Budget 2021-22: Reviving Growth of Indian Economy on Thursday, 18th February, 2021 for JKLU students. The session was delivered by Dr. Lokanath Mishra and Dr. Sheetal Mundra, Faculties of Institute of Management. They discussed the six pillars of Budget 2021-22, i.e Health & Wellbeing; Inclusive Development for Aspirational India; Physical and Financial Capital and Infrastructure; Reinvigorating Human Capital; Minimum Government and Maximum Governance and Innovations and R& D in detail and summarized the direction of the budget. This session resulted in great learnings for the students in terms of understanding the ins and outs of the budget and its further implications on the different sectors of the economy.Total of 28 participants attended the session including faculties and students. The event was designed and coordinated by student coordinators Manvi Sharma (BBA Ist Year) and Divans Saharia (BBA IInd Year), and faculty coordinators Dr. Sarita Gupta and Dr. Sheetal Mundra.
