A team of six faculty members and four students from JK Lakshmipat University attended the five-day Summer Collaboratory Institute at Franklin W. Olin Engineering College, Boston. The program started on June 7, 2021 and was held in virtual mode, where faculty members designed new courses using Project Based Learning (PBL) Pedagogy. Olin College of Engineering is ranked #3 in the nation among undergraduate engineering programs, according to the just-released 2020 U.S. News college rankings. JK Lakshmipat University has been pioneer in introducing this experiential learning pedagogy in India since 2018 for two batches. The new faculty who have joined the institute in the last two years are being trained in this pedagogy. Several courses on cutting edge technology like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are being developed for delivery using PBL. The university plans to transform courses in various programs using the pedagogy. The faculty and students attending this program belong to the three institutes, namely like the Institute of Engineering and Technology, the Institute of Management and the Institute of Design using PBL.
