Admission started for 2020


JKLU celebrated its 9th Convocation and Founder’s Day on November 23, 2021 in a glittering ceremony at their campus, the first major onsite event since the onset of Covid in early 2020, in which 166 students, who completed their degrees in BBA, B.Tech, MBA, M.Tech and PhD  programmes were felicitated. Shri Rajendra Singh Yadav, Hon’ble Minister of Higher Education, Rajasthan was the Chief Guest. The event also marked the 111th  Birth Anniversary of JKLU’s Founder, Lala Lakshmipat Singhania. Shri Bharat Hari Singhania, Chancellor of the University and President, JK Organisation graced the occasion along with other dignitaries, including Pro Chancellor Dr. RP Singhania, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dheeraj Sanghi, Pro-Vice Chancellor Mr. Asheesh Gupta, Members of the Board of Management and Academic Council, Directors, Faculty, Staff, graduating Students, their Parents and the Media. The celebration started with Saraswati Vandana, after which Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dheeraj Sanghi highlighted the achievements of the university. Director – IET, Dr. Sanjay Goel and Asst Director – IM, Dr. Ashwini Sharma, then invited all graduating students from Engineering and Management disciplines to collect their degrees. For newly appointed Higher Education Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Rajendra Singh Yadav, this was his first appearance as Chief Guest in a higher education institution and he was extremely pleased to have been invited to do the honours. After garlanding the statue of the Founder, Lala Lakshmipat Singhania, Shri Bharat Hari Singhania, extended a warm welcome to all the dignitaries and expressed his delight for being a part of Lala Lakshmipat Singhania’s vision and shared the growth story of the University. Faculty and Students paid rich tributes to their Founder and gave graduating speeches. Some students from 2020 passed out batch also received their degrees as last year the convocation happened online due to the Covid pandemic. Six students were conferred gold medals for their outstanding performances. The programme concluded with Pro-Chancellor, Dr RP Singhania giving the Vote of Thanks, followed by the National Anthem. Dr Punam Mishra, Asst Professor, Institute of Management, JKLU was the Master of Ceremonies for this defining event. At the end there was a group photo session of dignitaries, faculty and graduating students at the LRC stairs, which was followed by refreshments for all.
