Centre for Communication & Critical Thinking organised a session on ‘Celebrating Uniqueness, Beyond Physicality’ on the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 5, 2020. The session was conducted by trainer and coach Mrs. Richa Sahay, who has been a corporate trainer for over 12 years. With over 16 years of work experience, Richa is passionate at bringing wisdom, understanding and self-awareness to students so that they can make wiser and well-informed decisions, keeping in mind the wider ecosystem which they are part of. She is a management graduate with specialization in marketing and has done diploma in Training & Development from ISTD, New Delhi. In addition, she is also a certified NLP practitioner and Life Coach and Parenting trainer and Coach The two-hour long session engaged students by conducting activity and discussion. It made students become aware of deep gender bias and its impacts and why it is necessary to celebrate our uniqueness beyond our physicality. The session was coordinated by Dr. Richa Mishra, Assistant Director, Centre for Communication and Critical Thinking, JKLU.
