Admission started for 2020


JKLU celebrated 75th Independence Day on August 15, 2021, keeping in view all the COVID’19 safety measures & social distancing normsm with patriotic fervour. Celebrations started with a march past by University Security staff from VC Bungalow to Central Lawn, after which the National Flag was hoisted by the honourable outgoing Vice Chancellor, Dr. RL Raina and incoming Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dheeraj Sanghi. National Anthem was sung by the JKLU choir which was followed by Dr. Raina’s & Prof. Sanghi’s encouraging address to the gathering. The entire campus was gleaming with Rangoli and striking floral decorations.
This was followed by a cultural performance by the students of the university, which included patriotic songs and dances and was attended to by all residing in the campus. The Quiz club of JKLU organized a quiz competition on Indian patriotic songs and films, which was enjoyed by everybody. The programme ended with distribution of sweets to all. The hosts of the event were Dr. Richa Sharma, Mr. Paritosh Prasad and Ms. Manvi Sharma.
