Position: Counsellor for Department of Admissions
Location:
JKLU, Jaipur
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent professional level experience.
Essential Experience:
- Fresher/ 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
- Minimum 2 years professional counselling experience, preferably in the field of education.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in counselling principles, techniques and practices as applied to students’Â problems and developmental needs.
- Excellent active listening and communication skills.
- Patient, friendly and accommodating personality.
- Social perceptiveness and adequate understanding of body language.
- Excellent interpersonal and mediation skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To facilitate achievement of students’ academic & career goals and assist them in developing their social and mental capabilities.
- Work directly with students to develop solutions and set achievable goals.
- Help students with the admission process, filling applications and tests.
- Develop, monitor and assist the students with counselling programmes.
- Make cold calls.
- Facilitate conversion of Enquiry to Application to Admissions.
- Educate students, parents and community about the guidance programme.
- Handle walk-in students, counsel them to choose the appropriate field of study.
- Prepare MIS/ Reports.
- Conduct counselling rounds and send offer letters.
