Leadership in business does not come only from the knowledge of management; equally important is to build an entrepreneurial mind-set, and what are considered 21st century skills: the ability to think critically, to collaborate, to communicate ideas, to solve-problems creatively and to integrate knowledge and ideas from different disciplines and apply them to a situation.
At the Institute of Management, JKLU we focus on developing future leaders who have a solid grounding in the foundational areas of management: Marketing, Finance, Organisation, Strategy, Operations and benefit from the unique inter-disciplinary environment that the University offers with access to courses, resources and fellow students across business, technology and design. Students also acquire critical life skills through the Centre of Communication and Critical Thinking (CCCT).
They develop perspective in liberal arts and sciences, design thinking, computer science to stand-out from the crowd, whether working in an organisation or building their own family or entrepreneurial business or pursuing higher studies at leading Institutions. Access to business simulation at our BizLab™ with All India Management Association (AIMA), an opportunity for tinkerers to have their start-ups mentored at the start-up studio and an opportunity to leverage the JKLU Atal Incubation Centre with Niti Aayog for the chosen few, are some other unique aspects of our Institute.
The institute offers globally-benchmarked BBA programmes, a PG Diploma in Analyses & Research (PGDAR) which is especially designed for students seeking to pursue international higher studies in leading Universities and career opportunities, and PhD programmes in various management disciplines.
