MY BIOGraphy

Dr. Jitendra Kumar Singh is Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at J K Lakshmipat University, Jaipur, since August 2016. He received his Ph.D. & M.Tech Degree in Chemical Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur and B.Tech. Degree in Chemical Technology specialization in Food Technology and Engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University Lucknow. His area of research is desalination of water using advanced separation process. He has published 41 research papers in International/National journals and International/National conferences.

He has attained 26 Short-term course/ workshop/International/ National conferences. He has organized 08 International /National conferences/ workshops. He has the life member of various National and International bodies, like, Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, Institution of Engineers (India), Indian Desalination Association (IDA) and International Association of Engineers (IAENG).

He is elected as Executive Committee Member and Honorable Joint-Treasurer in Indian Desalination Association, BARC Mumbai and also elected as an executive committee member of Jaipur Regional Center of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers. He has been supervised 16 undergraduate practice school-I&II and supervising 3 post graduate industrial project-I and 2 Ph.D. scholar. He taught 12 courses in undergraduate in chemical engineering & 5 courses in postgraduate in Health, safety, and environmental engineering.

A research project entitled Development of Solar Energy Based Membrane Distillation System for Rural Drinking Water Application in Rajasthan sanctioned by CCDU, Government of Rajasthan has been completed during my PhD at the Department of Chemical Engineering, MNIT Jaipur.

 

 

 

Elected as an Executive Committee Member and Honorable Joint-Treasurer in Indian Desalination Association, BHABHA ATOMIC RESEARCH CENTER Mumbai.

Elected as an Executive Committee Member in Jaipur Regional Center of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineering, Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur.

Convener of a one day work on the theme of  Nature for Water on the occasion of World Water Day 2018, Jointly Organized by IET, JK Lakshmipat University Jaipur, Indian Desalination Association (IDA) Mumbai and Water Management Forum (WMF) Ahmedabad, March 22, 2018, at JKLU Jaipur.

Co-Convener of three days JKLU International Conference on Innovations in Technology and Management for Achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to be held on Feb. 1-3, 2019.

Coordinator of the three-day international workshop on Regeneration of the Banas-Bisalpur Socio-ecological Complex in association with JK Lakshmipat University Jaipur, University of West England, Bristol UK and Water Harvest Udaipur, sponsored by Wetlands International South Asia Office (India), 4th to 6th December 2017 at JKLU Jaipur.
