MY BIOGraphy

Dr. Anish Kumar has earned his B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology and M. Tech & Ph. D from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in the Department of Mechanical Engineering with specialization “Solid Mechanics and Design”.  He has worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel in the Department of Mechanical Engineering from December 2017 to March 2021.  He has also worked at Skyroot Aerospace Private Limited, Hyderabad as a Structures & Design Engineer.  He has published three papers in reputed international journals. His research area includes Nonlinear Dynamics and Vibrations, Approximate Mathematical Methods, Structural Mechanics, Theory of Plates and Shells, Modelling and Simulation of MEMS & NEMS Devices, and Bilinear Oscillators.

The foundation of engineering lies on the basic principles of science, and hence he believes that a course should always start from the basic principles. Interactions (both one to one and groups) between the students and instructor are important to develop a healthy environment of learning.
