M.Sc. Career
The M.Sc. degrees are aligned with the practice that address both the need for analysts and critical thinkers.
The Data Analytics program will help develop skills relating to data-driven decision-making, manipulating and analyzing large datasets, ethical data management, evaluative data interpretation, and clear communication of data results. Possible career trajectories include analyst and consulting positions in public policy, market research, public relations, corporate communications, population studies, and survey research.
The Resource Economics program provides training in empirical microeconomics and applied econometrics. It allows concentration in fields like Environmental and Natural Resource Economics, Empirical Industrial Organization, and Experimental and Behavioural Economics. Graduates will have the ability to analyse how consumers and firms make choices, how markets behave, and what data are needed to inform decisions. It will prepare students for careers in analysis and decision making for management, marketing, resource-based industries and economic consulting.
