BCA (Commenced from 2020) Career

A 3-year program, focusses on building skills and knowledgebase for computer application development and IT administration. It is designed to help motivated students with diverse disciplinary background to bring in multi-perspective approach and creativity to their IT projects. The curriculum includes many core courses on contemporary and emerging technologies.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • The program is open for 12th pass students of all streams with minimum 50% marks in 12th class.

ADMISSION PROCESS

Selection of a student at JKLU will be finalized after a series of evaluative steps.

Submission of the application form with required details. Non-refundable application fee of Rs 600 to be paid.

Counselling and interview with the JKLU admissions team, provided the student meets the eligibility criteria

FEE STRUCTURE

BCA(2021-24) Fee* in INR

Pioneer scholarship of Rs. 60,000/- will be given to every admitted student, which will be distributed equally across all instalment.

Note: One-time Caution Money of Rs. 10,000 would be payable along with first year’s fee. It is refundable at the time of leaving the institute.

  • The above fee will be subject to an increase of up to 8% in every consecutive year.

Transport fee of Rs 15,000 to be paid every semester if the student wishes to avail the JKLU transport facility from Jaipur city to JKLU campus on specified routes.

  • The above-mentioned fee as applicable to citizens of India and SAARC Countries.
  • Hostel charges are on annual basis.
  • Hostel charges are for one academic year and the students are not allowed to leave the hostel during the semester.
  • Hostel fee, as above, is applicable to all boarding students.
  • Hostel rooms are on twin sharing basis. Hostel charges are subject to yearly revision.

Note: Hostel security deposit of Rs 5,000 payable along with first year’s fees.
Refund policy: Fee deposited for the registration is refundable till the beginning of the academic session. 10% processing fees will be deducted while processing the refund. Once the academic session begins, refund will be processed as per the UGC guidelines.

Achieving 9.6 or higher GPA, with no limit on number of qualifying student. If student’ GPA falls below 9.6 but is between 9 to 9.5,scholarship equivalent to 75% of academic fees will still be provided.

From 90 and below 96

1. Scholarship Equivalent to 75% of academic fee
2. Hostel Assistantship - Equivalent to 50% of hostel accommodation charges if opted.
3. International PG Assistance - Guidance and career services support for higher education overseas if opted.
4. These benefits will continue in all years subject to student
Achieving GPA between 9 to 9.5, with no limit on number of qualifying student. If student’ GPA falls below 9 but is between 8 to 8.5,scholarship equivalent to 50% of fees will still be provided.

From 85 and below 90

1. Scholarship Equivalent to 50% of academic fee
2. Hostel Assistantship - Equivalent to 50% of hostel accommodation charges if opted.

From 80 and below 85

1. Scholarship Equivalent to 25% of academic fee

From 75 and below 80

1. Scholarship Equivalent to 15% of academic fee

*(excluding Physical Education/Fine arts/Performing Arts/Vocational/Non Written Subjects).

Note:

1. To award scholarship, 12th percentage will be calculated on the basis of marks obtained in the best 4 subjects excluding Physical Education/ Fine Arts/ Performing Arts/ Design subjects/ Vocational / non written subjects.

2. Fine Arts/ Performing Arts/ Design subjects will be included in the best 4 subjects for B. Des only.

3. Merit Scholarships (Second year onwards)

  • The top 5% of the students of each program, who have obtained CGPA of 9.5 and above in the program are awarded scholarship equivalent to 100% of the academic fees.
  • Next 5% of the students of each program, who have obtained CGPA of 9.0 and above but less than 9.5 in the program are awarded scholarship equivalent to 75% of the academic fees.

4. Any exceptions to above will require Vice-Chancellor’s approval.
