Holistic Development of Students @ JKLU

JK Lakshmipat University among one of the best universities strongly believes in the holistic development of its students. In the current era, the students must know about their inner strength.  We believe the students need not only develop academically but also to develop the ability to survive in the modern world. The aim of holistic learning is to connect the mind, body, and spirit. It is about the development of healthy and positive relationships with their friends and family as well as social development, intellectual development, acquire leadership skills, become globally-minded and improve their emotional health.

JKLU under community development organize the different activities outside of the classroom and encourage them to participate in ones that meet their interests. The university organizes several talks and workshops on personality development, stress management, and spiritual practice to know about the purpose of life through connections to the community, to the natural world, and to humanitarian values such as compassion, peace and role of their Heart. These activities make JKLU as the best university in Rajasthan.

Over the years Students of JK Lakshmipat University, understand their social responsibilities and organized several programs like “School Chale Hum” for nearby children in rural areas, “Blood Donation” camps on regular intervals at the university campus, Plantation in nearby areas and schools, “Joy of Week” collection of clothes and other items and their distribution among the needy people and many other activities by student volunteers. These activities connect them to the outside community and their role to make it better, they feel really well and happy and their heart opens towards the positive attitude of life.

The students of JKLU start an NGO named “Act for Future” keeping in the view of problems to be faced by the world in the future and how can we contribute to minimize these problems. The volunteers of the group are mainly focused on Environmental, Children’s education and Moral problems.
