ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST Candidates), or equivalent grades in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the four optional courses (Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Computer Science) from a recognized Central/State Board/University Examination in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent to 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • Students appearing in the final examination of 10+2 may also apply.
  • Diploma holders (3-year Polytechnic programme) from a recognized Institute, with minimum 45% marks are eligible for lateral entry into 2nd year of B.Tech, in any programme of engineering offered at JKLU.
  • The applicants are required to appear in one of the national level engineering admission tests, such as JEE held in 2020. In case the candidate has not appeared for any national level engineering tests, they will have to appear in the JKLU Engineering Entrance Test (EET) to qualify for the programme.
  • Foreign Nationals/ Persons of Indian Origin/Non-Resident Indian candidates can be considered for admission on the basis of their marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination only (taken not earlier than July 2017).

  • Selection of a student at JKLU will be finalised after a series of evaluative steps.
  • Submission of the application form with required details. Non-refundable application fee of Rs 600 to be paid.
  • Counselling and interview with the JKLU admissions team, provided the student meets the eligibility criteria.
  • Merit-based assessment of candidates, focusing on attitude and aptitude, to help them benefit from the unique learning experience at JKLU.

  • Portfolio based interview round with Institute of Design, JKLU.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST Candidates) or equivalent CGPA in a three-year bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Students appearing in the final examination of bachelor’s degree can also apply.
  • The candidates must have appeared in CAT/MAT/ATMA/XAT/CMAT or any other national level entrance test. In case the candidate has not appeared for any of the mentioned tests, they will have to appear in the JKLU Management Entrance Test (MET) to qualify for the programme.

Admission Process

  • Selection of a student at JKLU will be finalized after a series of evaluative steps.
  • Candidates will be first shortlisted after consideration of their merit on the basis of score in CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT/ATMA, their previous academic records and preliminary interactions with the admissions team at JKLU.
  • Shortlisted candidates will go through two rounds of interviews with senior leaders at JKLU. The candidates will go through a second round of interview only upon clearing the first round.
  • Candidates will be finally selected through overall evaluation of merit and the quality of interactions during the personal interviews.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • B.E./B.Tech. with at least 55% marks (or 6.25 CGPA in 10.0 point scale) and 50% marks (or 5.75 CGPA) in the case of SC/ST candidates from a recognized University.
  • Foreign Nationals (FN)/Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Non-Resident Indian (NRI) candidates can be considered for admission on the basis of their marks in Bachelor’s Degree inEngineering /Technology or equivalent examination/their performance in GRE (Graduate Record Examination).

  • First preference shall be given to the GATE qualified students. Further seats remaining vacant, admission shall be made on the basis of merit in qualifying examination considering all subjects.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Master’s degree: Minimum 55% marks or 5.5/10 CGPA in aggregate at the master’s degree or equivalent in relevant subject.
  • Direct admission after B. Tech / B. E: Minimum aggregate 75% Marks or 7.5/10 CGPA in B.Tech/BE degree. Minimum aggregate 60% Marks or 6/10 CGPA in B. Tech/B.E for candidates having directly relevant engineering industry experience of more than 10 years.

Admission Process

  • Submission of the application form with required details. The application form can be filled our website www.jklu.edu.in and submitted with payment of Rs. 600 application fees.
  • Entrance test conducted at JKLU, provided the student meets the eligibility criteria. Applicants who have passed the NET/SET/GATE or any other equivalent national test are exempted from the entrance test.
