JK Lakshmipat University has collaborated with IBM's Software Group to roll out degree programs that are jointly developed and certified to make sure the students have the best from the both the worlds of Academia and Industry. IBM has setup an IBM Big data Analytics and IBM Cloud Computing Lab in the campus. The program is delivered by IBM subject matter experts.

Big Data Analytics

This program helps to make career in Big Data Analytics. Huge amount of raw, semi-structured and unstructured data is generating at uncontrollable pace. It features data as assets which can be used for analyze, correlate and predict. In almost every organizations, there is a requirement of Data Scientist and Data Analyst to perform data oriented task. Expertise in Big Data Analytics domain leads to handling of business intelligence, large scale data mining and data warehousing projects. Course covers dynamic paradigm in business analytics & optimization, data warehousing & multi-dimensional modelling, Business Intelligence, and Web & Graph Analytics.

Information Security

The technological growth, the Internet, and availability and sharing of information have tremendously increased information threats to organizations and individuals making it a challenge for users and system administrators to preserve security. Due to the requirement of sophisticated knowledge and tools to keep systems secure, there is a big need in India and around the world for information security professionals who are well educated about the various aspects of information security. The emergence of Information Security has resulted in the opening of various professional avenues for young professionals, creating a market ready for young IT graduates who can understand the risks involved in data security. With lucrative packages, data security has become the new professional direction for many students.

Information Security specialization will enable students to attain an in-depth knowledge of system and/or managerial aspects of information security, so that they can actively contribute to the prevention, detection and management of security threats, and/or the development of secured systems. It will also allow students with such ability to be easily identified by the IT industry. . The main objective of this program is to train students to become information security professionals for the high-end jobs in security industry.

Mobile Computing

With the rapid technological advancements in mobile technology, integrated circuitry and increases in computer processor speeds, the future of mobile computing looks increasingly exciting. Mobile Computing is the ability to use portable computing devices in wireless enabled networks to stay connected and access data while on the move. As demand of technological environment in new era of computing technology, we offer b.tech in cs with specialization in mobile computing. The course objective is to provide students with an understanding of mobile computing technologies and how these technologies are utilized and integrated to meet specific business needs. The stream of Mobile Computing is specialization and expertise oriented. The course also builds a solid foundation of software development skills and introduces the specific skills needed for developing mobile applications. Students will also gain a necessary understanding of current technologies and architectures that provide the network and communications infrastructure for mobile-enabled enterprise computer systems. Students will also develop skills in the design of modern network systems, using appropriate technologies, architectures and techniques.

Cloud Computing

Cloud computing (or 'on-demand computing') is a key distributed systems paradigm which has been gained much attention during the last few years. Cloud computing is a type of Internet-based computing, where data, information and shared resources are made available to computers and other devices on-demand. Cloud technologies are ubiquitous, affecting our routine lives any moment we access the World Wide Web, use a mobile app, or go for online transactions. Cloud computing and storage solutions provide users and enterprises with numerous competencies to store and process their data in third-party data centers. Cloud computing is a model for facilitating pervasive, suitable, on-demand network access to a common pool of configurable computing resources such as webs, servers, storage, applications and services that can be quickly provisioned and freed with nominal management effort. Clouds are also the de facto infrastructure for "Big Data" applications. Though advanced Cloud services are offered by IT companies, Cloud computing is also grounded in introductory distributed systems and scalable software systems principles, and is an active research field for the academic community.

10+2 with at least 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST Candidates) and  minimum 50% marks or equivalent in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the four optional courses (Biology, Bio - technology, Chemistry, Computer Science) from a recognized Central/State Board/University Examination in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent to 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Students appearing in the ?nal examination of 10+2 may also apply. The diploma  holders (3-year Polytechnic programme by a recognized Institute) in any program of Engineering (offered by JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur) with minimum of 45% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate are eligible for lateral entry into 2nd year of B. Tech Programme.

The applicants are required to appear in one of the National level Engineering admission tests, such as JEE or any other equivalent state level engineering entrance examination held in 2017. Foreign Nationals/ Persons of Indian Origin/Non-Resident Indian candidates can be considered for admission on the basis of their marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination only (taken not earlier than July 2015)

Application forms can be submitted through the following process

  • Online application through the University website www.jklu.edu.in for which application fee of Rs. 1000/- is payable. Online Payment can be made through Credit/ Debit card at the time of submission of application.
  • Request for application form of the Institute should be accompanied with a demand draft of Rs. 1,000/- favouring "JK Lakshmipat University" payable at Jaipur and addressed to:

  • The application form can be downloaded from our website and submitted along with a DD of Rs. 1,000/-. Application  form can also be directly obtained by cash or DD from the Institute. One could visit our website for further details. Candidates in the category of Foreign  Nationals/Persons of Indian  Origin/Non  Resident Indians  should enclose a bank  draft  of USD 100 or Rs. 6900/• drawn in favour of JK Lakshmipat University and payable at Jaipur along with the completed application form.
  • The applicants are required to appear in one of the National level Engineering admission tests, such as JEE or any other equivalent state level engineering entrance examination held in 2017. Foreign Nationals/ Persons of Indian Origin/Non-Resident Indian candidates can be considered for admission on the basis of their marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination only (taken not earlier than July 2015)

Selection Process

  • First preference shall be given to the candidates having their merit on the basis of scores in JEE 2017.
  • Further seats remaining vacant admission shall be made on the basis of merit in qualifying examination considering all subjects.
