Research is vital for the success of any global endeavor. It is the foundation of development and policies all over the world. Research draws its power from the fact that it is empirical: rather than merely theorizing about what might be effective or what could work. Quality research results are examinable, replicable, and the knowledge generated is applicable to real-world situations.

Pursuing a research is both challenging and rewarding experience, and this opportunity enables a researcher to pursue an in-depth original study about a topic of interest. However, the lack of rigor many a times leaves scholars unable to draw meaningful and useful conclusions that can guide research practice. Specifically, the researcher’s conceptualization of actionable research is ambiguous and inconsistent, and is therefore, operationalized unscientifically.


The key to quality research lies in iteration: the process of relooking into the research questions, methods, and data, which leads to new ideas, revisions and improvements. It is easy to think of research as a step-by-step process, but it is important to be fluid and open to change. Discussing the research project with researchers, academicians and peers gives rise to new research questions, points to the variables that need to be added or omitted, and other changes to be made. As a proposed study is examined and reexamined from different perspectives, it may begin to transform and take a different shape. This is expected of a quality research study. In addition, it is important to examine study methods and data from different viewpoints to ensure a comprehensive approach to the research question. It is important to realize that the research process is cyclical and iterative.

With a mission of knowledge enhancement, skills development and innovative thinking, JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur, offers research program leading to the Ph. D degree which involves a stipulated course work and credit requirements plus producing a research thesis that shall be characterized by the discovery of new facts, or providing a new perspective of interpretation, application of existing facts or postulating a new theory or evaluating an existing theory in new contexts and innovation and development of equipment/ product/ process making a unique advancement in a technology or a practice or a principle.

In order to provide a strong platform to the researchers, academicians and scholars, JK Lakshmipat University regularly organizes various National and International conferences. These conferences enable them to build their capacity for critical examination and sound judgment, thereby facilitating them to contribute to the existing body of knowledge.
